A Smartvent system ventilates your home and eliminates moisture created by everyday activities like cooking, unflued gas heaters and showers. There are two types of home ventilation systems:
Silver Fern Electrical recommends you have your heat pump serviced once a year. The process only takes an hour and will extend the life of your device by ensuring it is operating correctly, and is free of any build up.
- Positive pressure ventilation system: draws fresh air inside the home from outside or the roof cavity, forcing out the moisture and stale air through an efficient filter system and circulating fresh air.
- Balanced pressure/energy exchanger ventilation system: uses energy from the home e.g. a heat pump in the lounge, and passes it through an energy recovery converter system, moving fresh dry air to the rooms that need it most.
